They should keep part of the athletes village so it could be used for MPs accommodation instead of paying mortgage intrest or hotel bills we would save a fortune on expenses. No newT/Vs fridges ect
If this happened i wonder how many MPs within traveling distance would use this accommodation
Popular types of Lihue vacation rentals are cottages, rent houses, bungalows, cabins, luxury oceanfront homes and beachfront villas. Lihue is located in the island of Kauai, the oldest and the fourth largest of the Hawaii islands. Lihue also houses an airport, seaport and the island’s largest shopping centre.
Lihue Vacation Rentals and Tourist Attractions
Lihue vacation rentals such as Kauai Beach Villas, Pali Kai Oceanbluff Cottage and Kauai Beach Resort are well-connected to the most popular tourist destinations in the area. Popular tourist destinations include:
Kilohana Plantation Estate: The estate’s central mansion, known for its period architecture, is surrounded by lush rainforests with tropical fruits. Tourists can enjoy luau (festival), shopping and carriage and train rides here. The estate also offers picnics wherein picnickers can pluck their favorite fruits directly from the vines.
Kipu Ranch: Spread over 2500 acres, the Kipu Ranch is home to rich and diverse wildlife. The ranch is also famous for its All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) adventure tours.
Lihue Vacation Rentals: Activities
Cultural Events: Lihue vacation rentals also provide ample opportunities to enjoy the region’s festivals and other activities.
The Coconut Festival: It is held during October in Kapaa Beach Park. Themes and events revolve around live music and coconut, which is the unofficial symbol of Hawaii.
The Aloha Centre: It houses an open art gallery that offers an excellent platform for art lovers to talk to and take lessons from local artists and surf through the local arts and crafts.
Sports and Activities: The topography and climate of Lihue allows a wide range of recreational activities. The place’s tropical climate is the breeding ground for its abundant and diverse marine life. Popular recreational activities are scuba diving, hiking, golf, horseback riding, fishing and windsurfing.
Nightlife: Lihue has a quiet and serene nightlife. However, the island does have clubs and lounges that provide excellent night-out opportunities. Some of these are Duke’s Canoe Club, Rob’s Good Times Grill and Whalers Brewpub. Lihue also has a local theatre, Kukui Grove Cinema, which showcases movies even after nightfall.

I'm planning a trip for next winter to Vancouver and I'm looking for some advice from locals or people who have been there. What are some fun things to do?
Things I'm considering include a Canucks game, boarding at Whistler, and also exploring the night life (I'll be 20 when I venture up there). I'd like to hear some specific places, whether it be a museum or a night club give me some names if you have some insight please.
Also, if you were a tourist visiting Vancouver could you tell me what hotel you stayed at and your opinion of it…I've got a list of some hotels I'm considering (Le Soleil, Renaissance Harbourside, Westin Bayshore, and then also the Sheraton, Marriot, or Hampton Inn's).
Any and all input/advice is appreciated and 10 points is up for grabs for whoever offers up the most helpful information chalked full of details :-). Help make this a great trip. Thanks!

This summer my family and I are going on a vacation and doing Washington state (Seattle, Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, Mount Saint Helens) and driving up into Canada to do Vancouver and Whistler. On Vancouver Island, we plan to visit Victoria and Campbell River (where we will be going on a 'wildlife adventure'). Is there anything else on Vancouver Island that we are REALLY missing out on? We don't have much time left in the trip schedule to stay longer there, but there is a possibility we might be able to arrange things. Let me know based on what you think the priorities are.
Haha, perfectlybaked: We actually are driving through Forks and taking a ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. I definitely would not miss either city! (I'm a HUGE Twilight fan- I think the rest of my family might be kind of annoyed by it!)
The opening ceremonies will be indoors for the first time, so how would anyone be able to see the lighting of the Olympic torch live? A torch can’t be indoors!
