Olympic Vacations

I am vacationing in Barcelona this September. What are some of the best sites to see?

I already plan on going to Guadi's works, such as the Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, etc. It seems like most of the city involves just walking around and exploring (Las Ramblas, Montjuic, Olympic Park, etc)

Are there any noteable museums worth visiting? I've heard the Picasso museum, although very popular, isn't necessarily the best art museum there.

They should keep part of the athletes village so it could be used for MPs accommodation instead of paying mortgage intrest or hotel bills we would save a fortune on expenses.No newT/Vs fridges ect
If this happened i wonder how many MPs within traveling distance would use this accommodation

with all the buzz about the vancouver 2010 games well and truly underway, we can see the government of vancouver and canada are doing lots to promote and prepare the city for the olympics…

But what about safety of the public? From what I hear,Vancouver has its fair share of crime. How do visitors from foreign countries stay safe at all times? Especially since they don't know anything about the city….they would pretty much be lost, so how do they have a good time at the games? How do you avoid crime as an international tourist during the Vancouver 2010 games?
And are the people of vancouver racist? what kind of people should a tourist stay away from? will it be easy to meet people from around the world and make friends?

I think that a Summer Olympics could happen in Salt Lake City, but I do not see Salt Lake City having all the facilities available to host the Summer Olympic Games and also, I am told that Salt Lake City is a well known as a vacation spot for skiing.

I saw this group on facebook that would like to have Betty Fox (Terry Fox's mother) as the torchbearer for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Since this section has more Canadians I am asking it here. Who would you like to see be the torchbearer for the 2010 Winter Olympics?

I'm planning a 2 week vacation to the Seattle area this coming August. Me , my brother and his friend have been searching for some cool things to check out while we are there. We are all in our mid-20's so we will be looking for some cool things to see during the day, as well as some cool places to eat, and drink in the evenings….local places off the tourist radar? Anyone have ideas of some places to check out? We will also be visiting Olympic National Park, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island so any tips on those places will be helpful as well. Thanks!
