I’m going to Malaysia in february 2010 but now i realized that the Vancouver olympics and especially the ice-hockey is on at the time. As a big hockey fan I’m now wondering that if i’m going to miss all the games or is it possible to see any games on tv in Malaysia?

Vancouver Winter Games is coming to February 2010
What kind of google search terms in relation with the travel (e.g: hotel resevation, cheap flying ticket to vancouver, and so…) people usually type majorly some months before that Vancouver Winter Games 2010???

I am planning to spend up to a year in Canada later on this year or early Jan 2010. I was so set on going to Vancouver but I have now have second thoughts. The prospects of trying to find accommodation during the Winter Olympics scare me somewhat and prices may be a bit pricey for my liking. I know it rains a lot in Vancouver but Winter weather isn’t so cold compare to Toronto. I am so torn and now I’m so undecided.
Can anyone please tell me the pros and cons of each city.

They should keep part of the athletes village so it could be used for MPs accommodation instead of paying mortgage intrest or hotel bills we would save a fortune on expenses.No newT/Vs fridges ect
If this happened i wonder how many MPs within traveling distance would use this accommodation

I just kind of want your opinion on what YOU would do. Should I go to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, or maybe take a week-long vacation somewhere else. I think going to the Olympics would be cool cause it might be a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, even though I would only be able to see the opening ceremony (cause that’s the only thing that isn’t sold out). On the other hand, I could spend a week doing a lot of stuff somewhere else for about the same amount of money.
What do you think?
