Accomodations for 2010 Vancouver Olympics?! Help!?

Hi!

5 of my university friends and I got tickets to the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. (we got opening ceremony tickets and men’s and women’s hockey!!)… but we’re worried about accomodations now.
we’re not looking for anything extravagant. In fact, the cheaper the better. Does anyone know what would be the best option for us? I’ve tried looking on Kijiji and CraigsList to find houses for rent, but they’re all REALLY expensive.
Hotels haven’t started booking yet, but I’m worried that when they start taking reservations, they’ll run out quickly! Help!!!

    You could stay at the YMCA hotel. It’s sort of reasonable.

    But, I have to warn you that EVERYTHING will be expensive, so start saving.
