PROBLEMS WITH 2010 VANCOUVER OLYMPICS?

i read somewhere that the natives near vancouver are against the 2010 olympics because they feel it will harm their land. Does anyone know what tribe this is and if anything is being done about it. links would be great

    One of the first bits of controversy is with the construction costs. In 2006, they realized that it would cost over $100 million more dollars for construction for games. People don’t like it when things costs more, especially when the government is footing the bill with their dollars. Also they are having to expand a highway from Vancouver to Whistler and it runs through a very beautiful area of forests and there is anger over that. They would prefer if the government would not build near the virgin forests of BC. There is another controversy in how the logo of the games was selected.
