Washington or California?

In late June, we're going to be going on vacation. We're trying to choose either on Lake Tahoe in California or The Olympic Mountain Range in Washington. Which one would be better to go to and why?

Also if you could add pictures if you went somewhere near there that would be awesome!

    They are both great.
    Even better is to visit Whiskeytown N.R.A. near Redding, CA and enjoy the Free NPS conducted Kayak Tours, good fishing, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, gold panning, scenery and camping.
