What do you think of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver?

I am happy Vancouver got them because 1) They wanted it and 2) It makes it less likely that this vast waste of money will ever be held in my hometown of Toronto. Montreal had the Olympics in 1976. Over 20 years later taxpayers still had a special charge on their property tax to pay for the 2 week party. Also Montreal was stuck with a bunch of poorly made buildings often referred to as White Elephants. May Toronto always be spared.

    I HATE IT the olympics and all the politics involved British Colombians will be paying for them for generations to come vanoc the olympic commite has been lieing to the people of vancouver so has our provincial government seeing how we are goining to pay through our nose for many many many years to come i hope they fail miserably and the politicians and the olympics look like fools
